The 10th Annual Schoolhouse 5k Run/Walk!

A "Spooky" Schoolhouse run will be held on Saturday, October 14th, at Selkirk Shores State Park*, as a way to raise money toward the future of the Pulaski Marching Band. It will help lower the cost as we march past the White House in representation of NYS during the Independence Day Parade at our Nation's Capital on July 4th 2018.

This year's activities will include the usual 5k as well a half mile fun run for kids. Costumes are encouraged, and all in costume will receive $1 off the race fee. Registration for this event will be located at the open pavillion (toward the beach) beginning on race day at 10am. (In case of inclement weather, a registration table will be set up inside the closed pavillion). If a pre-registration form is filled out online, fee is $20. Checks can be made payable and sent to: Pulaski Band C/O Lori Lawton 2 Hinman Road Pulaski, NY 13142 or paid on race day. Race day registration is $25, and the FUN RUN is $10 (with or without pre-registration).

The 2015 School House 5k was held on March 8th at the Pulaski Fire Hall. Race day included raffles and prizes as well as chicken dinners cooked by the firemen. We were able to raise over $3500 towards the next band trip. Thank you to everyone who came out to support us!

THE PULASKI MARCHING BAND, MARCHING ITS WAY TOWARD WASHINGTON D.C.

By participating in this event you are helping us reach our goal of running, a collective mileage of 820 miles, a roundtrip from Pulaski to Washington D.C. At 3.1 miles a person, a minimum of 266 runners is required to accomplish this goal. Every person counts, so come and join the fun!
